In Oct 24, 2014, RWUS organized a district level awareness workshop on Indigenous Peoples Rights and Relevant Legislation The program was attended by more than 70 women leaders. Dr Immanuel Varte and Ms Shangnaidar Tontang are the resource persons.
RWUS have introduced a concept of FAITH GARDENING (Food Always in the Home). The workshop aims to implant the technique of FAITH gardening. The outcome of the program is that many farmers now have vegetables available in their kitchen garden throughout the year. The concept helped the daily food requirements of poor farmers.
