In Dec 13, 2014, three farmers namely: Mr Soineilien of Buallian village, Mr Seizamang of Khodang village, and Mr Kamminlun of Daizang village have been awarded appreciation certificates by the Agriculture and Horticulutre Department, Churachandpur district for their good work in SRI ( system of Rice Intensification). The three farmers have learnt the method of SRI and received a small grant from RWUS.
