RWUS Marks International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

25 November 2025: Rural Women Upliftment Society (RWUS) marked the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the beginning of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

RWUS reaffirmed its commitment to promoting gender equality and ending violence against women and girls. The organisation called on individuals and communities to challenge harmful social norms, speak out against abuse, and work together to create safe and inclusive environments for everyone.

The observance highlighted the importance of collective action in advancing equality, dignity, and a future free from gender-based violence.
