RWUS Manipur Continues Relief Efforts for Displaced Families in Churachandpur

Churachandpur, August 27: A relief mission was carried out on Tuesday in Hmarkhawlien, Assam, where food supplies were distributed to Internally Displaced Families (IDPs) from Jiribam. The displaced families have been seeking shelter in the area after being forced to leave their homes amid the ongoing unrest.

The initiative was supported by the Pawanka Fund (@pawankafund), enabling organizers to provide essential food items to the families. According to those involved, the assistance was aimed at addressing immediate needs and offering a measure of stability to those living in uncertain conditions.

Volunteers and partner organizations assisted in the distribution process. Organizers acknowledged their contributions, noting that such collective efforts bring necessary relief and support to vulnerable communities.
