3 December 2025: Rural Women Upliftment Society (RWUS) conducted a Soap Making Training for women from its supported Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Saihenjang village as part of its Strengthening and Upscaling of SHGs initiative.
The training introduced participants to soap production as a sustainable income-generating activity, equipping them with practical skills in manufacturing, quality control, inventory management, and basic marketing. The programme aims to help women diversify their livelihoods and strengthen their SHGs through micro-enterprise development.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation and marked another step towards building sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and promoting local entrepreneurship.
